5G leads the wave of new infrastructure construction. The "5G Application and Industrial Sustainable Development Forum" will be held soon.
May 17, 2020 is the 51st World Telecommunication and Information Society Day. The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has determined this year’s theme as “Connect 2030: Leveraging ICT to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)”, calling on countries to use ICT as the main driving force to achieve the “2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” and the Sustainable Development Goals, and to promote coordinated and sustainable development of the economy, society and environment.
The "5G Application and Industrial Sustainable Development Forum" hosted by the China Communications Society and hosted by the China Industrial Development Research Institute will be held in Shenzhen on the afternoon of May 17. This forum focuses on hot topics, uses the latest 5G technology to create a cloud conference, and gives full play to the industrial resources of China Industrial Development Research Institute in promoting industrial development, industrial layout, policy interpretation, project implementation, etc., to build this cloud conference into a communication platform for industrial integration development, 5G scenario application, and promoting the development of the real economy, interpreting and promoting China's future 5G industrial ecological layout.
In addition, a launching ceremony for 5G popular science training will be held at the forum. The China Industrial Development Research Institute is authorized by the China Communications Society and is fully responsible for the implementation and organization work. It will conduct science popularization training nationwide in a variety of "5G+X" ways.
In recent years, 5G technology has gradually matured and begun to be applied in various fields of society. Due to insufficient in-depth and comprehensive understanding, there are also many misunderstandings about 5G. It is particularly important to carry out 5G science popularization work. It is reported that the first online 5G training and popularization project "Leading the New Infrastructure: 60 Lectures on 5G Frontier Applications" will be launched on the Himalaya platform on May 17, allowing the public to experience the changes that 5G brings to society and the world.
Guan Hui, Chief Engineer of the General Department of the Fifth Academy of Aerospace Engineering, Liu Dacheng, Ph.D. Supervisor of the Industrial Engineering Department of Tsinghua University and Vice President of the Internet Industry Research Institute, Liu Ling, Deputy General Manager of the Beijing All-Road Communications Signal Research and Design Institute Group, Chen Shiqing, an academician of the National Academy of Engineering, Rong Letian, Chief Marketing Officer of Foxconn Industrial Internet, and many other academicians, industry experts, and business representatives will use online and offline linkage methods to deliver industry keynote speeches at the forum.
It is reported that this forum will also conduct a live broadcast of the technology of new 5G industry products in six sub-venues through online live broadcast, and will respectively demonstrate the remote control of high-tech products such as drones, unmanned boats, and robots under 5G communications.
