By 2030, the province's coal mines will basically be intelligent. This time, China Mobile, Yangmei Group and Huawei jointly built the first The official completion of the 5G coal mine has set a new coordinate for the construction of modern mines in Shanxi and created a new model for 5G scenario application. It is hoped that the China Mobile 5G Smart Mine Alliance will delve into Shanxi, further deepen the Yangmei pilot, accelerate the formulation of provincial standards for 5G smart mines, promote the provincial standards to become industry standards and national standards, build a comprehensive industry-university-research base for 5G smart mines in Shanxi, export Shanxi solutions and contribute Shanxi wisdom to intelligent mining of coal mines across the country and even the world. Hu Yuting emphasized that Shanxi Province will regard the 5G industry as an important direction for high-quality transformation and development. While developing "5G+smart mines", it will vigorously promote "5G+smart cultural tourism", "5G+smart agricultural valleys", "5G+smart cities", "5G+industrial Internet" and other scenario applications, and accelerate the creation of 5G network construction pioneer areas, industrial development clusters, and innovative application demonstration areas.
It is reported that the "5G Smart Mining Alliance" established this time will take the construction of 5G smart mines as the carrier, with the vision of "5G empowering industries, cooperative ecology and win-win", uniting all parties to build a smart mining cooperation platform, accelerating breakthroughs in key core technologies, exploring business models that can be replicated and promoted, and guiding the co-construction and sharing of resources to form complementary advantages. The establishment of the alliance will help further gather industry forces, promote the nationwide spread of 5G smart mines, and achieve a wider, deeper, and higher level of integration innovation between 5G and the mining industry. Wang Guangfa, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and chief scientist of China Coal Science and Industry Corporation, Liu Dacheng, vice president of the Internet Industry Research Institute of Tsinghua University, Zhai Hong, chairman of Yangmei Group, and Hao Guangming, president of global wireless network marketing of Huawei, spoke at the meeting as representatives of alliance members.
On the same day, the country's first 5G smart coal mine jointly built by China Mobile, Yangmei Group and Huawei announced its official completion. Yangmei Group's Xinyuan Coal Mine relies on the lowest underground 5G network in China - a 534-meter underground "super-gigabit uplink" coal mine 5G dedicated network to achieve intelligent management of coal mines and solve many pain points in the coal industry. It is reported that China Mobile joined hands with Huawei to develop full-chain underground dedicated communication equipment, and obtained the country's first 5G network equipment explosion-proof certification. It built a 5G dedicated network 534 meters underground in Yangmei Group's Xinyuan Coal Mine, and launched three 5G applications: unmanned inspection of mechanical and electrical chambers, unmanned operation of tunneling surfaces, and unmanned operations of fully mechanized mining surfaces, helping coal mines achieve unmanned, automated, and visualized operations in mines. Among them, the application of unmanned inspection of electromechanical chambers is tailor-made to solve the problem that electromechanical equipment in coal mining enterprises is prone to failure during long-term operation. It reduces the labor intensity and risks of staff and improves the quality and efficiency of inspections. The application of unmanned operation on the excavation face solves the problems of high risk factor and high labor intensity of traditional manual operations. It can perform remote operation cutting and support operations, and realize remote safe and accurate control of excavation operations. Unmanned operation at the fully mechanized mining surface solves the problems of heavy cable maintenance and frequent signal loss during the operation of underground equipment. It provides remote operators with a panoramic and high-definition operating view, which not only effectively reduces the incidence of safety accidents in dangerous operating areas, but also saves a lot of manpower and material resources.
