Competition introduction：

"Beidou Star" Innovation and Entrepreneurship CompetitionWith the support of the China Association for Science and Technology, hosted by the China Satellite Navigation and Positioning Association and hosted by the Shenzhen Beidou Industrial Internet Research Institute, it is a professional competition in the vertical field of the Beidou industry that has attracted great domestic attention. It aims to"Focus on the field of location services and gather the innovative power of Beidou"。

It has been successfully held for three times so far. In 2018 and 2019, it was recognized as a sub-project of the "National Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week" for two consecutive years, and was recognized by the National Development and Reform Commission and the China Association for Science and Technology.2019 "Creating China" series of activities Beidou Star Mass Entrepreneurship Station。

Since the competition was held, it has attracted the attention of many academician leaders, including the founder of "Two Bombs and One Satellite", winner of the Medal of the Republic, "Father of Beidou", academician Sun Jiadong of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, chief designer of the Shenzhou series of manned spacecraft, academician Qi Faren of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, satellite geodesy and satellite navigation and positioning expert, China Xu Qifeng, academician of the Academy of Engineering, expert in cartography and geographic information systems, academician Wang Jiayao of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, academician Liu Jingnan of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, academician Fan Benyao of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, Zhang Jianguo, vice minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology, Chen Rugui, mayor of Shenzhen, and Zhang Quande, secretary-general of the Media Association, attended the competition to launch the competition and delivered speeches.

2021,The 4th "Beidou Star" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition starts again, adhering to the concepts of openness, innovation, integration, and collaboration, keeping in mind the great mission of a powerful aerospace nation, courageously serving as the engine of innovation and development of the Beidou industry, promoting the integrated application of Beidou technology, and building China's Beidou core competitiveness.

Contest Highlights

The 4th "Beidou Star" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is oriented to Beidou application fields, covering Beidou software and hardware development, 5G communications, Internet of Things and intelligent manufacturing, industrial Internet, aerospace and machinery and other application fields and technical directions that apply positioning and timing functions. Entrepreneurial teams and companies gather the innovation power of Beidou industry to create a professional mass entrepreneurship event in the Beidou field.

(1) Competition bonus

Prize money for each competition:

First prize: one person, bonus 10,000

Two second prizes, 5,000 yuan

Third Prize: Three Prizes: 2,000

Finals Prize:

One first prize, 100,000 yuan

Two second prizes, 50,000 yuan

Three third prizes, 20,000 yuan

(2) Enterprise service support

Projects that enter the 2021 "Beidou Star" finals will be included as members of the Guangdong Province Beidou Industrial Innovation Technology Alliance and will be given priority in providing door-to-door policy services or exchange and discussion services. 

(3) Incentive supporting policies

Provide property management costs such as "Beidou+" Maker Space and Chain Alliance Maker Space for award-winning projects.

2. Market support:

1) Join the Lianyun Industrial E-commerce Platform for free and open supplier mall accounts for participating companies. Product advertising space will be provided free of charge for one month for the winning projects, and order procurement needs will be matched first.

2) The winning projects can stay in the Beidou Time and Space offline O2O exhibition hall for free for half a year, providing product display stands and creative packaging services.

3. Financial support:

1) Chain Alliance Industrial Service Finance;

2) Beidou Research Institute Industrial Fund links multiple investment and financing institutions including Shenzhen Bay Super Angel Fund, Investment Holdings Donghai, Horse Racing Capital, Songhe Innovation Fund, etc. to provide investment and financing docking for participating high-quality teams.

(4) Other support

The governments of each competition region provide policy support for project implementation and talent introduction;

Competition system introduction

The participating projects must reflect the application innovation and breakthroughs of the Beidou Satellite Navigation and Positioning System+ application technology, application scenarios, value, etc. in various industries. The competition is divided into three groups, namely the team group and the enterprise group. Duplicate registration is not allowed for the same project. The registration requirements are:

(1) Team group

1. Enterprises that have been registered for less than 1 year (registered after January 1, 2020) or enterprises that have not yet been registered before the deadline for registration of this competition, entrepreneurial teams with technological innovation achievements and business plans;

2. There should be no less than 3 core members;

3. The products, technologies and related patents of the participating projects belong to the participating teams and have no property rights disputes with any other companies.

(2) Enterprise group

1. Technology-based small, medium and micro enterprises (non-listed companies) with innovative capabilities and high growth potential, mainly engaged in product research and development, manufacturing, production and application services related to Beidou satellite navigation and location service technology;

2. It has been registered within 10 years (registered after January 1, 2011), and its sales in 2020 do not exceed RMB 100 million;

3. Business practices are standardized, the social image is good, there are no bad records such as illegal operations, and there are no property rights disputes about the products and technologies of the participating projects.
