5G+ application demonstration! Shenzhen New Generation Information and Communication Industry Cluster Exhibition Debuts at the 9th Electronics Expo

With the theme of "Technology Creates Life", this cluster exhibition showcases the construction results of the new generation information and communication industry cluster, the construction progress of major projects, as well as related technology products and applications in related industries such as 5G, integrated circuits, new displays, robots and artificial intelligence.

On-site, the cluster exhibition is divided into9 major exhibition areas, over 125 exhibiting projectsAppearance. Among them, the exhibition areas are mainly divided into cluster construction status exhibition area, key project exhibition area, highlight demonstration project exhibition area, collaborative innovation project exhibition area, 5G communication industry exhibition area, integrated circuit industry exhibition area, new display industry exhibition area, industrial Internet industry exhibition area, robot and artificial intelligence industry exhibition area, and brother cluster exhibition area.

Innovation leads, cross-border integration explores new 5G application scenarios

In the cluster key project exhibition area, "New Generation Mobile Communications Open Verification Public Service Platform", "Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Chain Comprehensive Service Platform", "Temporary Keys and Adhesive Materials for Ultra-Thin Chip Manufacturing", "Key Technology Research and Development and Industrialization for Ultra-large-Scale Analysis of Smart Cities", etc.Four major public service platforms and six major physical projectsThe centralized appearance will fully demonstrate the "innovation leadership" role of Shenzhen Advanced Institute, promote breakthroughs in "stuck-neck" key technologies, support the strengthening and replenishment of industrial chains, and explore new models of cross-border and cross-domain integration in multiple industrial fields.

Take the "Full-stack Intelligent Big Data Platform based on independently developed Kunpeng and Shengteng" jointly developed by Shenzhen Advanced Institute of Technology and Huawei as an example. The big data processing platform it built can automatically and intelligently optimize the performance of big data processing programs. Compared with the popular open-source memory big data processing platform based on similar Intel processors on the market, the performance is on average 10 times higher and the energy consumption is 50% lower on average. It has served more than 1,000 customers.  The project won the gold medal at the 9th China Electronic Information Expo.

In terms of exploring 5G application scenarios, the "5G+8K+AI" cross-border integration application demonstration project jointly developed by Shenzhen Advanced Research Institute and SenseTime Technology takes epidemic prevention and control and safety management as scenarios, and combines 8K ultra-high-definition technology with artificial intelligence, computer vision and other technologies to achieve intelligent analysis of scenarios from a long distance and a large perspective, accurately grasp the overall security situation, and provide early warning for abnormal events.  The project is currently using Shenzhen Coast City as a pilot area for technical verification.

The "dual cycle" model helps create a new ecosystem of industrial services

At the scene, the "New Generation Information and Communication Industry Cluster Comprehensive Service Platform" made its debut at the cluster exhibition. By providing more than 60 services such as professional technical services, intellectual property services, and industry information services, the platform helps Shenzhen's new generation of information and communication industry enterprises expand their markets and enhance their capabilities in researching and developing new technologies and new products. The platform integrates scientific research resources, 5G and integrated circuit industry testing and development resources.Give full play to the role of industrial organizations as “web weavers”, providing an efficient service platform for enterprises' technology application and talent management, and creating a new ecosystem of industrial services.  At present, the platform has been provided for external services and will be fully promoted and applied.
